The planned journey is intended to connect international climate dialogue with public participation. It is described here as a concept and framework, not as a completed itinerary.
Planned initiative
The following describes the intended framework. It does not record events that have already taken place, and it does not imply that any person or institution has agreed to participate.
Phase 1
The Torch is intended to travel through participating countries, with inauguration or reception by a head of state or an appropriate senior national representative where invitations, protocol, availability and host-country arrangements permit. Participation is not guaranteed and is not claimed as completed.
Phase 2
Within participating countries, the planned participation framework may include a broad range of people and institutions. None of the categories below is presented as a confirmed commitment.

Future country and event records will use these statuses. Planned is never shown as completed. Confirmed, in progress and completed will appear only when verified data is supplied.
Planned means an intention, not an achievement.
Confirmed requires verified information.
In progress is used only while a verified activity is underway.
Completed is used only after a verified activity has finished.
The architecture supports country-level entries. Only verified fields will be displayed. No placeholder countries, dates, hosts or events are published here.
No country journeys are published yet. When verified records exist, they will appear in this registry with an explicit status of Planned, Confirmed, In progress or Completed.

Road to COP31
The Torch initiative may form part of GCCT's planned engagement around COP31. This is a statement of intent, not a claim of official status.
GCCT does not claim official COP31 partnership, United Nations affiliation, accreditation, a speaking slot, an official venue, government support, or an official delegation. Those would be published only if formally verified.
The planned journey can provide opportunities for GCCT Climate Media. These formats are listed as intended possibilities, not as activities that have already taken place.
